  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1/4 cup grated carrot (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, chopped hard-cooked eggs, onion, celery, red bell pepper, and dill pickle relish.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, yellow mustard, sugar, white vinegar, salt, black pepper, and celery seed until smooth.
