- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar (for rolling)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon (for rolling)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, ground cinnamon, and salt. Whisk together and set aside.
- Cream together unsalted butter and sugar in a stand mixer until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then add vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon for rolling. Scoop cookie dough and roll into balls, then coat in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Place dough balls on baking sheets and bake for 8 to 10 minutes until puffed and slightly crinkled. Let cool before serving.
