Ingredients

  • 1 pound imitation crab meat
  • 1 cup finely chopped celery
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrot (optional)
  • 2 1/2 cups mayonnaise (Best Foods / Hellmann’s recommended)
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • Fresh dill (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions; drain and let cool.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta, imitation crab meat, chopped celery, and shredded carrot (if using).
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, milk, sugar, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and toss gently to combine.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Garnish with fresh dill if desired before serving.
