Description
A delicious twist on traditional apple pie, these Apple Pie Egg Rolls are filled with a sweet and tart apple mixture and baked to golden perfection.

- 5 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and finely diced (about 3½ cups)
- ¼ cup (50 g) light brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon cornstarch
- 22–24 egg roll wrappers
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature (about 2 teaspoons per egg roll)
- Cooking oil or spray (for baking)
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ cup caramel topping, warmed (optional for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine the diced Granny Smith apples with light brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and cornstarch. Mix until well-coated and set aside.
- On a clean work surface, lay out the egg roll wrappers. Spread 2 teaspoons of cream cheese onto the center of each wrapper.
- Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the apple mixture on top of the cream cheese.
- Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold the bottom corner over the filling, and roll it once.
- Fold in the left and right corners toward the center and press gently to seal.
- Continue rolling tightly until the filling is fully enclosed, sealing the top edge with water if needed.
- Arrange the assembled egg rolls on the prepared baking sheet and brush or spray each with cooking oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15–17 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- While baking, mix granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a shallow dish.
- Once out of the oven, roll the egg rolls in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Serve warm with caramel sauce for dipping or drizzling.

- Adjust the amount of sugar in the filling based on the sweetness of the apples.
